Unique and bold, Freya is an experimental piece filled with bright, bold colours – Crimson red, Cobalt blue, and a hint of gold. The piece features a large camellia, which was fully hand-dyed with a paint brush to create blending effects. The flower is complemented by leaves and embellished with a feather-like motif.
Freya is made with lightweight habutae silk fabric, which was carefully cut and intricately folded into petals to create delicate details. The petals were then assembled into flowers and leaves to create the headpiece. Gold colour threads are used for embellishment, adding more details and sheen to the piece.
