Hydrangea & Iris Floral Fascinator

Mio is a striking and magical hydrangea & iris floral fascinator. Inspired by a beautiful early summer garden, this piece features a large hydrangea and iris flowers, accompanied by leaves, vines, and a rhinestone-adorned, sparkling butterfly. The hydrangea is also embellished with rhinestones to add more shine and glitters.

The flowers, leaves, and butterfly are made with lightweight, glossy habutae silk fabric, using the Tsumami-zaiku technique: The fabric was carefully cut and intricately folded to create delicate details, which were then assembled to create various elements of the fascinator.

Enchanting and dazzling, this piece is a wonderful complement to an elegant and feminine outfit for formal occasions.

This is a one-and-only piece, an objet d’art as well as a fashion accessory. Truly unique and special, this fascinator will let you stand out from the crowd.

An elastic band and a comb are attached onto the tear-shape sinamay fascinator base for easy and secure wearing.

Please keep the piece dry. Do not wash. Remove dust with a clean brush.

About Tsumami-zaiku

Tsumami-zaiku is an artisan skill originated in the Japanese aristocracy, dating back to the late 18th century. Today, the craft is still used extensively to make exquisite floral headpieces for Maikos (apprentice Geishas). Tsumami-Zaiku is a delightful union of Japanese tradition, culture, and nature. We aim to bring this over two-century-old craft into modern fashion, so as to create distinctive, unique, and alternative headpieces.
