Cora and Tsumami-zaiku

Being fascinated by Japanese art and culture since a teenager, Cora started practising a traditional Japanese textile art – Tsumami-zaiku. The art of Kanzashi originated in Japan in the Edo era. It uses small, folded pieces of fabric to create various objects. It is often used for making elaborate head pieces for Geishas and is deeply connected to nature and change of seasons. Cora is now a Tsumami-zaiku artist who creates a wide range of jewellery, headpieces, and artworks with cotton fabric and silk fabric. All these can be found in our shop page. If you need something vivid and exotic yet elegant and intricate, be it jewellery or decorative artwork, Cora will always have the right piece for you.

Chris and Vintage

Chris has started gaining insight and interest in vintage metalworks, jewellery and glass when he started working as a staff at the Sheffield Cats Shelter (SCS) Charity Shop, in there Chris became the person to value and sell the unusual objects found in the shop on The SCS’s eBay shop. This experience has helped Chris to build up knowledge in general retailing trading, customer service, pricing art objects and sourcing materials for crafting. On the other hand, as a side project for this business, Chris also trades antique silver & metal works, antique Glass and Vintage Jewellery on a separate Etsy Shop. Ultimately Chris wants to source more vintage Japanese Arts and Accessories for the shop.
