This magical and charming Galaxy Palette Hydrangea Headpiece is made with lightweight, hand-dyed cotton lawn fabric. The flowers are made with the Tsumami-zaiku technique, and are embellished with millinery stamens and rhinestones. This piece is mounted onto a silver tone comb, which is best suited for full or semi up-dos. A wonderful complement for an enchanting, flowy dress. Perfect for a woodland theme wedding or a garden tea party.
The headpiece is made with lightweight cotton lawn fabric. The fabric is carefully cut, hand-dyed, and intricately folded to create delicate details, which are then assembled into flowers and leaves to create the headpiece.

Tsumami-zaiku is an artisan skill originated in the Japanese aristocracy, dating back to the late 18th century. Today, the craft is still used extensively to make exquisite floral headpieces for Maikos (apprentice Geishas). Tsumami-Zaiku is a delightful union of Japanese tradition, culture, and nature. We aim to bring this over two-century-old craft into modern fashion, so as to create distinctive, unique, and alternative headpieces.
